MOBA UK Appoints New Irish Distributor
MOBA has announced that Logic Fleet Management Ltd has been appointed as its distributor in the Republic of Ireland for the company’s sophisticated bin weighing and ID solutions.
MOBA’s UK office will continue to support the distributor with both sales and technical support going forward.
Logic Fleet Management has already installed more than twenty systems across the Irish market and this number will soon rapidly grow as new legislation, coming into force from July 2015, will mandate that all waste collectors will need to use a pay-by-weight system of calculating bin collection charges.
According to Ian Lewis, general manager of MOBA UK & Ireland: “Over the course of this year and next we will see a rush of demand from waste contractors for on-board bin weighing and ID solutions and our move to appoint Logic Fleet Management will ensure we have the best partner in the Irish market to represent us. We believe their combined reputation, experience and knowledge will help us grow quickly in this demanding market”.
Michael Gray, managing director of Logic Fleet Management, knows that with the new legislation, now less than a year away, waste operators will be searching the market for suitable solutions.
“Our experience tells that, whilst cost-effective solutions are critical, what is most important for our Irish customers is quality, accuracy and above all durability”, explained Michael.
