An investigation has launched into the cause of a fire that occurred at the Recycle Force Depot in Corby on Friday night (17 July).
Up to 80 firefighters helped extinguish the blaze at the recycling storage warehouse filled with domestic waste and was filled with bales of paper and plastics.
10 appliances from Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service were assisted by crews from Leicestershire and Warwickshire.
No-one was injured and investigations are now underway.
A statement from Corby Borough Council said: “We are very relieved to hear that there have been no casualties or injuries caused by the incident.
“We are in contact with the company and other arrangements have been made for Corby’s recycling collections, therefore all collections will continue as normal.”
