MT Waste Management (MTWM) in Milton Keynes has partnered with MK Dons to improve the football club’s “existing green credentials”.
The family-owned recycling and waste management company is a club business partner and will implement a number of initiatives intended to help make Stadium mk more environmentally friendly.
Over the coming months MTWM will implement a number of key initiatives for fans to recycle whilst watching matches at the stadium.
Such initiatives will include reverse vending, where fans will be given vouchers in return for recycling bottles purchased in the vicinity.
James Parkinson, the head of partnerships at MK Dons, said: “It is a privilege for MK Dons to build relationships with companies that are not only local, but are experts in their field. MT Waste have a proven track record in waste management and will help MK Dons continue our commitment to establishing our green credentials at the club.”
The Dons’ business development manager Joe Pursell added: “We are delighted to partner with our local football team and look forward to continuing to develop and build a long standing close working relationship with the MK Dons.
