RWM in conference with CIWM 2014 has announced more confirmed industry speakers that will contribute on subjects ranging from the circular economy to making sense of TEEP.
Added to the already impressive list of speakers, Clyde Loakes, Councillor and Chair, North London Waste Authority will appear as a panel member of a session on Technically, Environmentally and Economically Practicable (TEEP) – Making sense of the guidelines that will take place on the Wednesday of the show.
Also confirmed for this panel is David Greenfield, director of Iese Ltd.
Jonathan Short, founder and deputy chairman of Eco Plastics Ltd has also been confirmed. Jonathon will speak on the importance of stringent frameworks safeguarding traceability of materials; working towards a circular economy and exploring successes and challenges in achieving high quality recycling.
RWM with CIWM has also announced the appointment of two senior event specialists to support the event’s growth. Sarah Porter is named divisional director for environment and broadcasting events, with Russell Bacon as new portfolio director for the same division at i2i.
Sarah Porter brings more than 18 years experience in events. Reporting to the i2i Events Group CEO, she will be responsible for managing market leading brands such as RWM in partnership with CIWM and BVE.

Sarah’s previous role was as a management consultant to the exhibition industry for organisers including United Business Media, Clarion Events and London 2012. She has extensive experience in delivering and launching award-winning, market leading events.
Russell Bacon has spent more than a decade in sales and events, most recently as sales director at IIR Telecoms, Informa SAS and OVUM. His new i2i role is to lead and set show strategies for the environment and broadcasting portfolio, which includes the industry leading events RWM in partnership with CIWM, The Energy Event, The Renewables Event, The Water Event and BVE.
