About

Re-Gen is one of Europe’s leading Materials Recovery Facilities (MRFs), based in Newry, employing over 400 people and playing a key role in modern recycling. We specialise in processing mixed waste and transforming it into reusable materials, helping reduce landfill and improve sustainability. Our work is setting new standards in the industry, reimagining how recycling facilities operate through innovation and efficiency.

As an industry leader in carbon efficiency for household recyclables, Re-Gen is at the forefront of driving environmental progress. Our mission is to decarbonise the environment and create a cleaner future for all.

Re-Gen continues to invest in the future of sustainable waste management through its new state-of-the-art facility at Carnbane, which processes Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF). This advanced facility supports the transition towards a circular economy by recovering value from waste materials that would otherwise go to landfill, helping maximise resource efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

We are also active investors in forward thinking start up businesses, including our sister companies Connex, Re-Gen Robotics and Versafix, supporting innovation that advances sustainability and operational excellence across the sector.
