Too Good To Go distributes 300,000 parcels of surplus food from household brands

Too Good To Go

Too Good To Go announces it has distributed 300,000 parcels since launching a new initiative for major household brands.

Too Good To Go partnered with CEVA Logistics in 2024 as part of an initiative to redistribute surplus food from household brands, including Tony’s Chocolonely, Heinz, McVities, Amoy, Jamie Oliver and Alpro.

The brands offer parcels of surplus stock that are tinned or ambient as an extension of Too Good To Go’s Surprise Bags initiative.

Customers can purchase the parcels via the Too Good To Go app, and they are delivered to their chosen location.

Too Good To Go Parcels aim to reduce food waste caused by excess stock, packaging changes, or cosmetic imperfections.

Sam Kashani, VP of Global Operations – Parcels at Too Good To Go, commented: “We’re thrilled to celebrate the milestone of 300,000 Too Good To Go Parcels saved by our amazing UK users.”

“Every Parcel rescued helps reduce food waste and contributes to a future where good food never goes to waste. With more beloved brands joining us every day, our community is making a real impact, tackling food waste and climate change bite by bite, one rescue at a time.”
