About

BioticNRG Limited and its management team have over 20 years experience in the renewable energy and organic waste recycling sectors and is a leading industry provider of green gas and electricity. Our AD portfolio comprises 9 Anaerobic Digestion sites throughout the UK, processing both wastes/residues/rotational and sequential cropping as part of sustainable farming practices to increase diversity, soil health and food productivity. The sites operate as gas to grid sites supplying the National Grid and CHP sites providing green electricity to local businesses as well as to the grid. Our AD sites produce BS PAS110 digestate or digestate meeting end of waste criteria providing a fossil free source of nutrients and soil conditioning.

In addition we also provide full site management operational services for 4 additional AD plants and own 5 compost sites across the Midlands and East of England, all of which are PAS:100 certified.

BioticNRG is funded by APG Asset Management, the leading public pension fund manager in the Netherlands, who invest over 500bn Euros of the Dutch working population’s pensions to “not only deliver financial returns but also to do our bit for society”. BioticNRG provides a platform to support the Socially Responsible, Sustainable and Innovative goals of APG’s clients.

BioticNRG’s investments and activities are managed by Palisade Real Assets (UK) Limited and all operational services provided by BioticNRG Operations Limited who provide operating expertise and manpower to all the BioticNRG portfolio assets.

Engineering and decarbonisation are at the heart of the BioticNRG platform. BioticNRG’s core focus is on investing in well performing sites and good people to build on their experience and take advantage of the emerging policy, regulatory and technical developments to build an efficient and interconnected enterprise looking to build long term value growth and stable returns as part of the transition to a low carbon, green economy in 2026 and beyond, both in the UK and Europe, investing in proven teams and flexible processes with green credentials.

We welcome engagement with all stakeholders whether they are investors, policy makers, preregulators, operators, developers and the general public. We operate an open and inclusive organisation. Please contact us and we will put you in touch with the relevant member of our experience team.
