Resourcing the Future 2019 | Day one

The Resourcing the Future Conference 2019 provided an unmissable opportunity for debate and implementing key recommendations from the recently released Resources and Waste Strategy for England.

Government representatives, thought-leaders and stakeholders from across the sector explored the key elements of the strategy and discussed the direction and deliverability of the policies and a circular economy framework.

The conference was packed full of discussion points and centered on the new strategy, its recommendations and implementation. Experts from across the sector spoke on single-use plastics bans and taxes, DRS, Secondary material markets, Producer Responsibility, recycling targets and food waste.
