About

Sherbourne Recycling is a forward thinking and sustainably driven waste and resource management company in the West Midlands, wholly owned by eight Local Authorities.

It operates a state-of the-art Materials Recycling Facility, capable of processing up to 175,000 tonnes of fully commingled household dry mixed recyclate per annum from more than 1.5 million residents.

Sherbourne offers a fully integrated recycling solution that utilises AI and robotics to undertake the separation of recyclate, reaching recovery rates of up to 99% purity.

Its flexible and agile recycling process can target new materials in line with changing consumer habits, producer design, and legislative changes, supporting its Local Authorities with service delivery.

Its facility also has living lab capabilities.
