Key messages
(1) Although smaller quantities these materials have important environmental and financial value.
(2) Engage early with your sorting facility to ensure that contracts can be amended for the materials to be included.
(3) To maximise capture plan out how the materials would be incorporated into the collection system; foils scrunched, cartons with the container stream.
(4) Important to communicate the need for these materials to be clean and contaminant free.
