Key messages

(1) Plan flats/communals service early and don’t underestimate the amount of time it will take to deliver (gather intel, engage, implement) compared to kerbside services.

(2) Ensure that you use the experience and local knowledge of all stakeholders to help determine how the service will work best for the specific properties.

(3) Monitoring is important to ensure services and meeting expectations, given the variations in property design and layout.
