Vision Container Solutions Acquires Sellers Containers

Vision Container Solutions has acquired Sellers Containers in a privately arranged transaction that has strengthened Egbert H Taylor’s financial position and laid the foundations for continued domestic and international growth.

The move is part of a recent reorganisation that has seen Indigo Capital LLP become Egbert H Taylor’s sole shareholder and the Droitwich firm terminate its relationship with Egbert Taylor Group. The business will now continue trading under its longstanding company name Egbert H Taylor.

Egbert H Taylor will continue to work closely with Sellers Containers and Visionscape. The business, which has been trading for almost 60 years, will now focus on its core four-wheel container business and support its strategic distribution partners in the UK and across international markets.

“This is a positive move for the business and one that will enable us to invest more time in building on the success of Taylor, which is quickly becoming a truly international brand.”

Brendan Murphy, CEO at Egbert H Taylor, comments: “This is a positive move for the business and one that will enable us to invest more time in building on the success of Taylor, which is quickly becoming a truly international brand.

“We now look forward to growing our UK and international sales, expanding our wide-ranging product portfolio and building on our reputation for delivering unparalleled customer service throughout the waste industry at home and overseas.”

Harry Ackerman, CEO at Visionscape Group, adds: “Sellers Containers represents a fantastic opportunity for the group and strengthens our strategy of vertical integration across our supply chain. Sellers Containers is well known for its quality and high specification, and this fits well with our philosophy of using the highest quality products available to our business.

“We now look forward to continue working closing with Egbert H. Taylor and building on what is already a successful relationship.”
